Using a printer ink subscription to save money
So, how do printer ink subscriptions actually work, and what are the potential benefits?
In simple terms, a printer ink subscription is like any other subscription; you pay a recurring subscription fee and receive your item at a designated time.
But it goes beyond that, because with our smart printer monitoring, we’ll monitor your printer ink levels and make sure your next printer ink delivery is before your current ink runs out. Even better, you’ll enjoy our cheapest printer ink prices, with up to 70% savings on ReadyPrint Flex1 or choose ReadyPrint MAX and get an EcoTank printer and loads of ink for a low monthly fee2.

Printer ink subscription FAQs
How can I reduce the cost of printer ink?
The best way to reduce the cost of your printer ink is to enjoy a printer ink subscription. You can read more about the benefits of our ReadyPrint subscriptions further up the page.
Is it okay to use non-genuine, 3rd party or cheap ink cartridges?
It depends on what you mean by cheap ink cartridges.
If you mean using cheaply priced cartridges from non-reputable retailers, these include the inherent risk that comes with using any product of questionable quality. Going with cheap or non-genuine may seem better value initially, but could cost more in the long run if the product lacks quality and longevity.
What types of printers are the cheapest for ink?
In terms of the cheapest printer ink options within our range, these will come from our ink subscriptions. A ReadyPrint Flex subscription offers savings of up to 70%1. Whilst a ReadyPrint MAX subscription means just one fixed monthly fee and no upfront costs3.
But whichever printer you select, taking on a printer ink subscription will offer significant savings on your printing costs.
