Human rights

We are serious about keeping all forms of discrimination and unfair practices out of our global operations. This is reflected in our participation in the UN Global Compact since 2004, and in the Epson Group policies regarding human rights and labour standards. This articulates Epson’s strong convictions in areas such as respect for human rights, prevention of all forms of harassment and discrimination, respect for local culture and customs, prohibition of child and forced labour, and maintenance of positive labour-management relations.

Employee wellbeing

Our employees are the cornerstone of our success. We are committed to investing in their physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing and offer a range of programmes and resources to mitigate health and wellbeing risks.

We employ around 2,000 people across EMEA. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today, and we are committed to delivering the best working conditions for everyone.

Following the pandemic and employee feedback, we introduced flexible working to enable hybrid home and office working on a long-term basis. We believe that reduced travel is beneficial to our employees, the community, and the environment.

New Horizons: inspiring young people

We believe that education is key to promoting sustainable development and through our New Horizons programme we seek to engage young people from primary school to university on important sustainability topics. Our target is to reach at least 10,000 students across Europe annually.

Contributing to communities

It’s incredibly important to us to contribute to the communities where we live and work. Each year, our employees get involved in a broad range of local and grassroots initiatives — from supporting environmental and biodiversity projects and partnering with NGOs, to running donation programmes, expanding access to education, and empowering women entrepreneurs through our technology and sustainability expertise.

We actively encourage and support our people to take part in volunteering, recognising the powerful difference they can make.
